The 30th anniversary Alnwick International Music Festival will go down in the history books as one of the most successful, despite some typical North East England weather!

Groups from all over the world joined the party in Alnwick. Performers from Belarus and the Czech Republic played and danced alongside those from Mexico and the USA.

The music festival committee would like to thank all performers, helpers and visitors for making the 2006 event yet another huge success.

And it would not have been such a success without the support of a lot of people in the district of Alnwick, many of whom gave their services and time voluntarily. We are extremely grateful.
